Wildwood Police Chief Randy Parmer expressed public appreciation this week to Citizens First Bank for its donation of 100 weather radios.
The Villages hometown community bank donated the Midland-brand radios for distribution during the department's recent annual Memorial Day event.
Only a few radios remain for Wildwood residents who meet the following criteria: must live alone, do not have a smartphone for weather awareness and need a weather radio.
Residents who qualify may call the Community Outreach Department at 352-330-1355.
