*IMPORTANT PPP UPDATE*

On March 30, 2021, President Biden signed into law legislation to extend the application window for the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Previously, any PPP application not approved by March 31, 2021—even if it was submitted prior to that date—could not receive PPP funds. The new law allows borrowers to apply for loans through May 31, 2021, and gives the SBA until June 30th to consider applications. Please refer to the SBA PPP website for complete details on this program: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program.

SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Second Draw Loans

On Sunday, December 27, 2020, President Trump signed a $900 Billion pandemic relief bill into law. This bill reopens the SBA Paycheck Protection (PPP) Program so that some of the hardest hit small businesses can apply for a second PPP loan. Citizens First Bank will be participating in this PPP “Second Draw” and “First Draw” loan programs for businesses in our tri-county market (Sumter, Lake, and Marion Counties).

Please see our SBA PPP Comparison Chart for details on both programs. Please see below for additional important details:
